About me
Dovile Mark was born in Lithuania and now spends time between Maryland, California and Hawaii. She enjoys leading others on creative exploration journeys and working as a writer, filmmaker, actor, stunt performer, puppeteer and communications training consultant with diplomatic service personnel. Her poetry, photography and stories have been featured in several magazines including “Poet’s Ink,” “Gingerbread House,” “Literary Yard,” “Dragonfly Magazine,” and “Main Channel Voices”.
She has worked on over a dozen film and television productions and has performed live at many venues in Europe and US including theaters, literary festivals, jail facilities, hospitals and Stoop Storytelling Series at Center Stage in Baltimore. Her plays have been performed at numerous theaters in Baltimore/Washington DC area.
She likes to fly glider planes, drink tea with strangers, work with K-9 search and rescue teams, research topics ranging from human trafficking to psychological profiles of female suicide bombers and travel to any countries not yet visited. When she gets a chance to, Dovile likes to dance a very unimpressive version of bachata and dive with spotted eagle rays in Hawaii.
