Austin Film Festival is pleased to announce that our 21st Annual Film & Food Fundraising Party will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 7-10pm. Filmmakers, producers, celebrities, and foodies from across the globe come together to celebrate the arts of filmmaking and screenwriting. Join us for flowing cocktails and inventive cuisine from Austin’s most notable chefs and restaurants. The event also includes live and silent auctions that showcase the best in luxury items, trips, and experiences. All proceeds benefit Austin Film Festival’s Young Filmmakers Program (YFP), which aims to improve creativity, literacy, and communication skills through the arts of screenwriting and filmmaking. YFP collectively serves over 1,800 students annually, ages 9-18, in the Austin community through programs such as Digital Storytelling, Arts Education Outreach, and Summer Film Camp. Select programs are offered free, thanks in part to your generous support of this event, through AISD schools and partner organizations. Additionally, YFP grants more than 300 students and teachers scholarships to attend the annual Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference allowing the next generation of storytellers to experience the magic of our event first hand.
