About me
I've been a teacher, director and performer of improvisational theater for 32 years now, starting in NYC before moving to Austin 16 years ago. Here I help produce the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival and am Conservatory Director for ColdTowne Theater. I'm the author of Directing Improv: Show the Way By Getting Out of the Way. I was a producer on TRUST US, THIS IS ALL MADE UP, a documentary on legendary improvisers TJ & Dave that premiered at Austin’s South by Southwest Festival in 2009 and helped develop the improvised film DAYS OF DELUSION with director Scott Myers.
